A Platinum, Emerald and Diamond Necklace, Circa 1950, consisting of a line necklace with central cluster accent supporting a cluster pendant, the pendant containing one pear shape emerald weighing approximately 3.07 carats, 14 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.12 carats total, eight pear shape brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.02 carats total and 12 marquise shape brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.32 carats total, the necklace composed of three round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.75 carats total, 129 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 8.27 carats total, and 17 marquise cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.20 carats total. Stamp: (Maker's mark). 31.80 dwts. Estimate $ 8,000-12,000 The necklace measures approximately 16 1/4 inches in length. Gem Characteristics (graded in setting): Emerald It is the opinion of the gemologist that the emerald in this necklace has internal characteristics consistent with those observed in natural emerald with a minor to moderate degree of clarity enhancement. The stone is not of Colombian origin, could be African (not a guarantee). Diamonds Color: G-J Clarity: VS2-SI1
