A Queen Anne English provincial silver two handled small cup by Edward Richards Exeter 1709, Britannia standard, half spiral gadrooned with bands of punched leaves, with two S-scroll twist wire handles, later engraved with a crowned cypher, engraved 'GL' below, 7cm (2.75in) high, 74g (2.25 oz) The coronet and cypher of two addorsed letters C is that of an unidentified son or daughter of the sovereign except the heir apparent, i.e. a prince or princess
