Thomas Brown Birmingham swan neck pediment with three ball and spire finials over freestanding reeded columns and a long trunk door with shaped top flanked by similar Doric columns to a base with applied 'razor blade' panel on ogee bracket feet, the 13 inch arched brass dial signed on an applied arc over the phases of the moon dial, mask and scroll spandrels enclosing the silvered Roman and arabic chapter ring enclosing a secondary dial for tune selection, comprising: the 149 Psalm the Lass of Patties Mill an Air by Handle (sic) an Air by Mudge Sir Charles Sidleys Minuet The Shady Bowers Over the water to Charley the substantial triple weight driven movement with six knopped pillars, anchor escapement playing one of seven tunes every three hours on ten bells and hammers 2.26m. (93ins.) high
