A RARE BLUE AND WHITE MING ‘FIGURAL’ TRIPOD CENSER MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY The cylindrical censer is painted on the exterior with two groups of figures, one depicting an elderly man riding on a donkey, accompanied by an attendant holding a tree branch, the other showing a scholar riding on a horse followed an attendant with a carrying pole, divided by rocks and grassy mounds, all below a moulded band and a key-fret band, and raised on three cabriole legs painted with floral motifs.
