With rebrowned sighted barrels each signed in gold along the sighting flat at the breech and with a transverse band of beadwork at the rear, silver fore-sights and gold-lined touch-holes, tangs finely engraved with foliage, each also with a band of beadwork and incorporating the back-sight, flat bevelled detented locks signed on a gold oval suspended from engraved swags, and each engraved with a rocaille on the stepped tail, engraved safety-catches, cocks and steels, the last with small roller, figured full stocks with rounded flat-sided butts, cast and chased mounts comprising pierced foliate side-plates each incorporating a Classical helmet and a falchion, butt-caps with the seated figure of Britannia framed by rocailles and foliage, border engraved trigger-guards each with acorn finial and decorated with a flower-head on the bow, turned silver ramrod-pipes, set triggers, and horn-tipped ramrods, possibly original, one with iron worm: in relined and refitted oak case, with some accessories including brass-mounted three-way powder-flask (worn, one compartment lid missing), the exterior of the lid with flush-fitting brass carrying handle, gold-lined proof marks and Wogdon's barrelsmith's mark 24.3 cm. barrels
