A RARE DIAMOND AND PEARL PENDENT NECKLACE
A RARE DIAMOND AND PEARL PENDENT NECKLACE The pendant set with a pear-shaped diamond weighing approximately 13.89 carats and a cushion-shaped diamond weighing approximately 5.01 carats, surmounted by a cushion-shaped diamond, spaced by white round pearls extending to the neckchain accented by collet-set brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, 40.0 cm long Accompanied by report no. 1156567956 dated 31 July 2013 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 13.89 carat diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity Report no. 5151579707 dated 13 August 2013 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 5.01 carat diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity Also accompanied by two supplemental letters from the Gemological Institute of America stating the 13.89 and 5.01 carat diamonds have been determined to be type IIa. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan I and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin
