A RARE GLASS-INLAID BRONZE TUBULAR FITTING FITTING, LATE WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 9TH-8TH CENTURY BC, GLASS INLAY, LATE WARRING STATES PERIOD, 3RD CENTURY BC The long bronze tube open at one end, the other inlaid with a circular blue and white glass plaque, the sides divided into six registers within triple bowstring borders, each pierced with a circular aperture on one side and cast in relief on the reverse with a taotie mask formed by pairs of kui dragons in profile, two of the registers at one end inlaid between the horns with a small flat circular glass plaque and two pierced with a small square aperture between the horns, all of these positioned opposite one of the circular apertures on the reverse, with heavy blue-green encrustation throughout 17 1/8 in. (43.5 cm.) long, two wood boxes and one silk box with silk pouch
