A RARE IMPERIAL KNIFE WITH BUFFALO HORN HILT AND GOLD AND TURQUOISE SHEATH QIANLONG INLAID FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) The elongated steel knife is inlaid in gold wires with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl with the reign mark inlaid on the spine. It is mounted on a buffalo horn-hilt applied with coral stones at one end and fitted with a gold sheath embellished with turquoise. 13 1/2 in.
