A RARE PAIR OF KELL-ENGRAVED 12-BORE (2 5/8IN) SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER-AND-UNDER SIDELOCK EJECTOR GUNS BY J. LANG, NO. 17524/5 The lockplates and undersides of the action-bodies engraved with extensive game-scenes of duck, pheasant and snipe (No. 1) and grouse, pheasant and snipe (No. 2), with best foliate-scroll engraving, the No. 1 gun with much hardening-colour, the No. 2 gun with traces of hardening-colour, non-selective single-triggers, figured stocks with leather-covered recoil-pads, the 'ribless' barrels with wooden side-fillets and matt breech-flats Weight 7lb. 3oz., 14¾in. pulls, 30in. barrels, choke approx. I.C. (relieved) both (No. 1) and 3/8 & ½ (No. 2), 2 5/8in. chambers, nitro proof (No. 2 over barrel-thickness below recommended minimum)
