Robustly potted with a flat shallow well, a massive mouth rim with rounded edges, four elongated semi-circular feet, brightly covered overall with an opaque turquoise-blue glaze suffused with a finely mottled purplish-blue. Provenance: English private collection. Condition: Excellent condition, the inner with wear and minor calcification indicating extensive use as a brush washer. One minuscule open bubble. Glaze imperfections as expected on this type of ware. Old and fitted hongmu stand, probably made around 1900.
