A RARE WHITE JADE OPENWORK 'APSARA' PLAQUE TANG-JIN DYNASTY, 9TH-12TH CENTURY The rectangular plaque is carved in openwork and rounded relief on both sides as an apsara , holding a lingzhi stem in her right hand, shown in flight amidst clouds below and the stems of a lotus flower and leaf above. Her hair is dressed in a tall, looped coiffure, and she wears long, backward-floating scarves. The semi-translucent stone has some areas of reddish-brown color. 2 3/8 in. (7.3 cm.) wide, box
