Midnight blue and grey flocked velvet long-sleeved lace-up tunic (lacking laces) with a peplum waist and leaf motif, bearing an interior "Western Costume Co." label inscribed, "Rod La Roque [sic] / 24180 change 2" in black ink, with a "Western Costume Co." stamp on the interior. La Rocque can be seen wearing the tunic as he dances with a young maiden. This luxurious costume is evidence of RKO's sparing no expense for the sumptuous production based on the novel by Victor Hugo Directed by William Dieterle and co-starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O'Hara, La Rocque plays the character of Phillippe. LaRocque was the rare actor who made a successful transition from silent movies to talkies; Hunchback was one of his most successful films. Accompanied by a DVD of the film.
