A Scandinavian silver beaker Maker's mark CH in shaped cartouche struck twice only, circa 1720 Tapering cylindrical and on three ball feet, the body chased with flowers and foliate scrolls on a matted ground, with plain circular cartouche, the plain band beneath the lip engraved with the initials M.G.D. , later engraved beneath the base with WR monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for Emperor Wilhelm II, marked on base 2½in. (6.2cm.) high 1oz. (44gr.)
