Probleme, die auf Cavalieris Abhandlung für seine Studenten basiert, sowie praktische Abhandlungen zu astronomischer Kartierung. - "The treatise on the Sphere .. is supposed by some authors to be apocryphal, as it teaches the Ptolemaic cosmogony, placing the earth immovable in the center, and adducing the usual arguments. But this does not necessarily make the work apocryphal, for we have it under his own hand that for some years he taught the Ptolemaic system in classes out of compilance with popular feeling, though at heart he was a follower of Copernicus" (Fahie). - Ohne das gest.
