(24.7 cm.) diam. 306 oz. 6 dwt. (9,528 gr.) The arms are those of Murray quartering Barclay of Balvaird within the motto of the Order of the Thistle, and the same accol é with Ellison quartering another, for William, 4th Earl of Mansfield K.T. (1806-1898) and his wife Louisa (d.1837), daughter of Cuthbert Ellison, whom he married in 1829. Provenance William, 4th Earl of Mansfield K.T. (1806-1898), then by descent.
