A set of four George III silver candlesticks with two matching three-light branches The candlesticks and one set of branches with maker's mark of John Scofield London, 1782, the other branches with maker's mark of Simon Harris, London, 1808 and William Pitts London, circa 1810 The candlesticks each on spreading circular base and with fluted tapering stem applied with classical figures medallions, with vase-shaped socket and detachable circular nozzle, the detachable leaf-capped reeded scroll branches each terminating in a plain circular drip-pan and vase-shaped socket and detachable circular nozzle, the central nozzle with reversible finial, the candlestick bases each engraved with a coat-of-arms within bright-cut engraved cartouche on foot, the drip-pans and nozzles with a crest, marked on bases, branches, nozzles, drip-pans and one finial 12½in. (31.5cm.) high and 18in. (46cm.) high with the branches 148ozs. (4,626grs.) (4)
