A SET OF FOUR LOUIS XV SILVER-MOUNTED PORCELAIN POMMADE-POTS AND COVERS WITH ROSEWOOD PARQUETRY CASKET THE PORCELAIN SAINT-CLOUD, CIRCA 1735, THE SILVER MOUNTS WITH THE DECHARGE OF HUBERT LOUVET, PARIS, 1732-1738 Each cylindrical, the rim and base each painted in blue with flower heads and stylized foliage suspended from Berainesque lappets, the silver-mounted rims each engraved with panels of trailing foliage scrolls on a matted ground, the detachable covers each similarly painted and with tapering finial, with a plain silver rim, the silver marked on each rim , contained in a contemporary rosewood case with metal drop-ring handle and an oval lock-plate, the rosewood parquetry cover opening to reveal a fitted turquoise moiré silk-lined interior, the rim stamped twice 'IB' the pots 5¾ in.
