MARK OF ANDREW FOGELBERG AND STEPHEN GILBERT LONDON, 1791
A SET OF TWELVE GEORGE III SILVER DINNER-PLATES MARK OF ANDREW FOGELBERG AND STEPHEN GILBERT LONDON, 1791 Each shaped circular with gadrooned border, engraved with a coat-of-arms, each marked on reverse and engraved with a scratchweight '17"5'; '17"7'; '17"15'; '17"14'; '17"11'; '17"15'; '17"4'; '17"2'; '17"19'; 17 13'; '17"10' and '17"5' 9½ in. (24 cm.) diam. 200 oz. (6,234 gr.) The arms are those of Petre quartering Walmesley with Howard, Brotherton, Warren and Fitzalan in pretence, impaling Howard, Brotherton, Warren and Fitzalan, for Robert, 9th Baron Petre (1742-1801) and his second wife Juliana (d.1833), daughter of Henry Howard of Glossop, whom he married in 1788.
