A SIGNED COPY OF THE BABE RUTH STORY AND A SIGNED RUTH/GEHRIG PHOTO The paperback Babe Ruth Story by Babe Ruth as told to Bob Considine, title page signed " To Bill Jr. From Babe Ruth and Bob Considine, " rating an 8/10. The text of the book along with its illustrations are in very good to excellent condition with the cover showing much creasing, the spine poor to fair. Together with a photo of Ruth and Gehrig standing in the dugout in pre-NY Logo home uniforms. A young fan stands between them, signed " To Bill From Babe Ruth. " and Lou Gehrig , both signatures grading about 4/10. The sepia-toned photograph is in fair condition with a crease and tear running 1/4 of the way down the middle of the photo and glue mounted to a stiff backing. Letter of Authenticity provided by James Spence. (2)
