A SILK EMBROIDERED ROUNDEL CENTRAL ASIA, CICRA 14TH CENTURY The yellow silk ground embroidered with a central roundel containing two confronted deer, their eyes and hooves picked out in white and black and features on their coat and face picked out in red, surrounded by lively scrolling vine, the border composed of a series of small circles within two plain bands, some areas of staining to silk 6 1/8 x 6½in. (15.6 x 16.6cm.)
