A SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Towle, Louis XIV pattern, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each vase form, on molded circular foot, monogrammed KCB , quartered by molded straps, headed by flat chased and engraved foliate scroll reserves, the pots with floral and foliate enhanced scroll handle, part foliate spout, the partly domed hinged cover topped by flower cluster finial, the tea kettle on molded circular stand issuing two bifurcated scroll supports enclosing openwork stylized foliage-- tea kettle on stand over fixed handle 14in. (35.5cm.), gross weight 123oz. (6)
