A small boar-tusk netsuke with a spider and ferns Attributed to Seiyodo Tomiharu (1733-1810), Iwami Province, late 18th/early 19th century The small tusk carved in low relief with a small spider crawling around, its eyes inlaid, the ferns carved in delicate kebori; signed Iwami-shu (Iwami-no-kuni) Enokawa Seiyodo horu (carved by the Eno River in Iwami Province by Seiyodo). 8.6cm (3 3/8in).
