A St. James (Charles Gouyn gold-mounted double scent bottle, circa 1750-54 formed as a parrot and a cockerel standing on a small mound base, the cockerel's neck set with a band inscribed 'MIGNONE' in gold on white enamel, the parrot with a band of ten foil backed faceted garnets, their detachable heads as chained stoppers, the mounted base painted with small flower sprigs and a larger spray to the underside, 6.9cm., 2 3/4 in. high
