A superb huanghuali rectangular cabinet with nanmu-burl wood-hinged doors, (yuan jiao gui) Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period very finely constructed with a projecting top frame with grooved and recessed outer-edge set on four rounded corner posts accented with squared molding in the inner edges, securing a fine pair of wood-hinged doors enclosing very broad book-matched nanmu-burl panels, the side and back panels of the cabinet composed of nanmu boards, accented with simple straight aprons with rounded spandrels at the corners just above the feet, the interior composed of three shelves, the middle and lowest shelf enclosing pairs of drawers, their fronts faced in huanghuali, and the inner boards composed of nanmu, the front lacking a central post, accented with a rectangular lock-plate and set with rectangular door-pulls 70 1/2 by 39 3/4 by 20 in., 179 by 101 by 50.1 cm
