A TEADUST-GLAZED VASE QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) The vase has a compressed body and cylindrical neck and is covered overall with an opaque glaze of finely mottled dark yellowish-green color that continues into the interior and also covers the base. The foot is covered with a dark wash. 13 in. (33 cm.) high Provenance Pauline (1882-1956) and Potter Palmer II (1875-1943) Collection, Chicago, before 1937. The Art Institute of Chicago, accessioned in 1937.
