♡ A TUSCAN WALNUT CENTRE TABLE LATE 17TH CENTURY The rectangular top set to one side with an iron escutcheon, enclosing a slot opening to the drawer below, above a frieze panelled and carved on all sides, with four drawers to one side, raised on baluster supports united by a peripheral stretchers. 80cm high, 162cm wide, 61cm deep PROVENANCE: Purchased from Graham Cornhall Antiques, 21st September 1999 Estimate $3,000-5,000 Condition: overall condition good commensurate with age and use, the top slightly sagging toward the centre, with a few old repairs to the top and elsewhere, typical wear to extremities and the stretchers.
