A TUSCAN WALNUT, EBONISED, BONE AND METAL INLAID BUREAU CABINET ON STAND, with an architectural pediment flanked by stylised recumbent winged griffins and a square tapering finial to each side, above a panelled frieze and a pair of cupboard doors, centred by a portrait in bone, copper, pewter and brass of a man and woman respectively with panelled surround, the fall front similarly inlaid with Apollo and his attendants driving across the heavens, the interior fitted with a central pigeon hole and four small drawers above a long drawer, on fluted ebonised front supports with rectangular inlaid back legs, late 19th century 41½in. (105.5cm.) wide; 84in. (213.5cm.) high; 19¾in. (50.5cm.) deep
