A very fine and detailed wood and metal model of the White Star Passenger Liner R.M.S. 'Titanic' built for Ismay, Imrie and Co by Harland and Wolf, Belfast and modelled by J.Gilbert -- 27 x 72in.(68.5 x 82.8cm) With masts, derrick and rigging, radio aerial and deck details including anchors, winches, wood capped deck rails, companionways, deck winches, cranes, ventilators, cleats and bollards, stayed funnels with safety valve extension pipes, bridge and aft steering position, lifeboats and other fine detailing. The hull, of solid mahogany is accurately plated in brass and wood with decks planked in basswood. Finished in White Star livery and mounted on two columns. Display base. Glazed case and table
