A VERY FINE CASED 80-BORE PHILIP WEBLEY 'WEDGE-FRAME' FIVE-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION PERCUSSION REVOLVER RETAILED BY J. BLISSETT, 322 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON, SERIAL NO. 5195, CIRCA 1860 With border engraved blued octagonal sighted barrel and top-strap, the latter with retailer's signature, blued border engraved cylinder, frame and mounts, the framed marked 'PATENT NO. 5195' on the left side, chequered figured walnut grips, bright hammer, trigger and rammer, retaining nearly all its original finish and in apparently unfired condition, London proof marks, in original fitted mahogany case lined in dark blue baize with accessories including a fine revolver flask and brass 'WD' bullet mould, the lid with John Blissett trade label, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon 4¾in. (12.1.cm.) barrel
