A VERY RARE EARLY MING JUN-TYPE DISH YONGLE/XUANDE PERIOD, FIRST QUARTER 15TH CENTURY With rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, covered with an opaque glaze of finely mottled milky lavender color on the interior shading to rich reddish purple which matches the color of the glaze on the exterior, with a thin line of dark bluish-purple color inside and out below the thinned glaze of brownish color on the rim, the glaze ending in a line on the foot showing the dark brown ware which is also visible on the unglazed base 6 5/8 in. (17 cm.) diam.
