A VERY RARE GENTLEMAN'S STAINLESS STEEL OMEGA SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL CHRONOGRAPH WRIST WATCH DATED 1972, REF. 145.022 ST 71 WITH "NO NASA" CASE BACK, ACCOMPANIED BY OMEGA EXTRACT OF THE ARCHIVES SHOWING DELIVERY TO USA Movement: 17J, manual wind, cal. 861, signed Omega, numbered 32,xxx,xxx. Case: Width approx. 42mm, screw back, Speedmaster emblem embossed on case back, signed Omega Watch Co, tachymetre bezel, dust cover, Omega crown.Strap: Leather. Believed to have been produced for a very short period in which Omega were awaiting approval from NASA's public affairs department for their intended change to the 'Flight-Qualified by NASA For All Space Missions' case back from the former "Straight Writing" case back. This resulted in a small number of watches produced without mention of NASA on the case back. CONDITION REPORTDial: Original dial in excellent condition.Movement: Working at present.Case: In excellent condition, with some small scratches due to general use.Strap/Bracelet: In excellent condition.
