A VERY RARE JAMES II SILVER ARM BADGE, POSSIBLY FOR A NIGHT WATCHMAN OR CONSTABLE,(?), UNMARKED, CIRCA 1688, Circular, embossed with a representation of the seal of Scarborough, divided vertically in two, a tower on the left, a lymphad on the right, inscribed above, around the upper rim "Ville de Scarburgte (sic) 1688" , the back affixed with 2 of the original 3 rings, also pierced on left side with 3 holes to sew on to coat or leather backing, 3 3/8 in. diameter (8.5 cm.), 1.25 oz.
