The silvered dial sigen French, Royal Exchange, LONDON, No. 8029 , Roman hour nemerals, subsidiary seconds dial finely engraved with half-second intermarkers, up-and-down dial, blued steel hands, main-frame assembly inscribed French, Royal Exchange, London, No. 8029 carrying three barrel and centre wheel, circular sub-frame assembly carrying remainder of train. Cut bi-metallic balance with cylindrical heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, dovetail spring detent with jewelled locking stone to side of banking block, in brass bowl with both later gimballed ring and two-tier plain mahogany box with external brass handles -- 4¼in.
