A Victorian Snider-Enfield Long Mark III rifle by the London Small Arms Company, the 37 inch triple banded barrel with fore sight and rear ladder sight stamped with proof marks and War Department arrows, the band stamped en suite, Snider Patent breech, plain side lock action with crown and 'VR' cipher also stamped 'L S.A & Co' and dated 1871, brass trigger guard with sling mount, full walnut stock with brass capped fore end and steel ram rod, brass butt plate, the whole 137cm long.
