A Victorian two-day marine chronometer , the silvered dial signed Barraud 41 Cornhill No. 5092 London, with the addition Corrected O Adjusted by: Roman hour numerals, subsidiary up-and-down dial 0-56 (at XII) seconds dial (at VI), all hands blued steel, Earnshaw escapement, brass and blued steel cut bi-metallic balance, segmental heat compensation weights, polished white metal helical balance spring with depthing adjustment screw to balance cock stud, dovetail detent with jewelled locking stone to side of banking block, in brass bowl and gimbal in plain 3-tier mahogany box with external brass drop handles and white disc to front of middle section inscribed 5092 98 mm. dial diam.
