A Well-Carved 'Longquan' Celadon Vase (Meiping) Ming dynasty, 15th Century elegantly potted, with swelling shoulder and short tapered neck, waisted base and flared foot, the body crisply carved with continuous lotus-scroll, cloud-scroll band to shoulder, petal and mountain borders to the neck, the foot carved with stiff leaves, all covered with a light olive-green glaze, the foot rim partially unglazed, Japanese wood box (2) height 8 1/2 in., 21.6 cm
