A well detailed and presented static display model of the Italian Line Passenger Liner Andrea Doria , with details including mast, aerials, derricks and rigging, anchors, winches, fairleads, bollards, spray shields, spare anchor, hatches, deck winches, superstructure with passenger accommodation, bridge and wing bridges, deck rails, companionways, engine-room lights, opening 'windows' and 'doors', three swimming pools, the First Class with companionway and water-slide, seats and umbrellas, cargo cranes, sixteen 'canvas'-covered lifeboats in davits, and many other details. The hull, with portholes, bilge keels, twin shafts with four-blade propellers and rudder, finished in Italian Line liverey and mounted on two turned columns -- 25 x 84in. (63.5 x 213.5cm.). Inlaid mahogany glazed case and table. Measurements overall -- 64½ x 95in. (164 x 241.5cm.) See Illustration
