A well detailed scale 1:24 display model of the 19 t h Century Baltic trader Alice Eskildsen modelled by K. Britten with masts, yards, stun's'l booms and foot ropes, standing and running rigging with scale blocks, 'weathered' bound anchors, catheads, planked deck, winches, ventilator, companionways, hatches, belaying rails and pins, water barrles, deck galley with stove, bilge pumps, chicken coops, housed deck compass, tiller, rudder, ship's boat in davits and ship's dinghy in chocks, each clinker built with bottom boards, thwarts, oars and rudder, and other details, the hull of planked laminated yellow pine with glazed stern cabin windows, ship's name and date for 1832, bow decoration, finished in white, black red and varnish -- 49 x 64in.
