A well engineered 1in. scale model of an Allchin single cylinder two speed four shaft agricultural traction engine and an almost complete 1in. scale Garrett threshing drum built by J.G. Martin. Traction engine details include brazed copper boiler by A. Kellett serial No.391 8536 with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, water, lift, clack, injector [unit not fitted] and blowdown valves, cylinder 1in. bore x 1in. stroke, trunk type crosshead guide, mechanical and displacement lubricators, footplate controlled draincocks and pipes, Stephenson's link reverse, eccentric driven ffedpump and bypass two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked straked wheels, spud pan, sprung front axle, worm and roller chain steering, damper, cable drum, cable and fairleads, band brake to third shaft, water lift, wooden footboard, tool box and other details, finished in maroon, red, brown and black and polished brightwork [gear guards not painted] -- 17 x 26in. (43.2 x 66cm.) Boiler certificate dated 22.11.1985, drive belt, drawings, build instructions, firing irons Threshing drum details include wooden chassis with metal tyred wooden wheels, turning lock, 'A' frame draw bar, straw walkers, drum, spindle and pulley and many other details but unfinished, painted pink and red -- 14 x 28in.
