A William IV Scottish silver mounted horn snuff mull, the foliate embossed hinged lid set with foil backed citrine and amethyst coloured pastes, the front applied with scroll plaque inscribed 'C.C. Rols of Shandwick to the Northern Coursing Club 30th May 1836', fitted with thistle decorated suspension loops and fancy link chain, the rim inscribed 'Albion Cloth Co Edin', length 48cm (one paste lacking).
