After Gustav Klimt1862 - 1918Das Werk von Gustav Klimt The complete portfolio, comprising 50 collotypes, including ten printed in colour heightened with gold and silver, 1918, a deluxe example with the artist’s facsimile signature on the title-page as well as the ten colour collotypes, each sheet with an intaglio signet printed in gold, this set numbered ‘LVI’ in black ink from the total edition of 300, each sheet loose (as issued), contained in the original clamshell case designed by Julius Dratwa, Vienna, with marbled sides and gilt lettering on the front covereach sheet: 470 by 453mm 18½ by 17⅞inCondition reportThe full sheets, each in good condition apart from scattered foxing, some corners slightly softened, surface soiling along the sheet edges in places, the clamshell case with a couple of losses and some minor wear (the spine presumably replaced).
