Both works have frame rubbing. Scattered craquelure. Visible stretcher marks and a dirty varnish. Painting with the mouse trap on the floor: 1/2 inch horizontal tear just above the white and brown dog's back at the center left. Inpaint in the red fabric at the upper right quadrant, in the craquelure and some scattered touches elsewhere. Painting with the mouse trap in by the ceiling: Y-shaped repaired tear, approximately 1 x 1/2 x 1/2 inch, with a 2 x 1 inch area of inpaint surrounding in the lower left quadrant. There is inpaint in the contours of the curtains and in the red handle of the object in the lower right corner.
