ALBUM -- A large collection of mid 18th-century engravings after David Teniers by J.P. Le Bas, F. Bassan and others, including Rejouissances Flanandes ; Veue et Port de Me de Flandre , with many other scenes of card playing, gameing, tavern life and provincial trades, 152 plates pasted onto 109 sheets bound into an album with marble boards (770 x 570mm). Provenance : the corner of each sheet bears the collectors stamp of His Royal Highness Adolphus Frederick, Duke of Cambridge (1774-1850) (Lugt 118).
