ECHOES: A MUSICAL BIRTHDAY BOOK SELECTED AND ARRANGED BY ELEANOR BRETT with a daily musical quotation and space for signatures, signed by several hundred British, Greek, Indian and other royals, aristocrats, politicians, bishops, and courtiers on the dates of their birthday, including Winston Churchill (Windsor Castle 26 June 1908), Edward VII, Queen Alexandra, George V (as King and as Prince of Wales), Queen Mary, Edward Duke of Windsor (twice, once as a boy and once as Prince of Wales), George VI (as a boy, "Albert"), Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Prince Arthur of Connaught, Louisa Princess Royal, and Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (later Queen of Spain), with further items loosely inserted including two signed photographs of the Mohawk Chief Oskenonton, mostly signed at Windsor Castle, Sandringham, or Buckingham Palace, 1894-1938, green morocco gilt, binding detached
