Additional hand-coloured aquatint title and 49 plates. (Some very light offsetting and spotting, one plate detaching.) Contemporary straight-grained scarlet morocco, covers with double gilt fillet borders, spine gilt in compartments, gilt edges (extremities lightly rubbed, a few light scuff marks and stains). Cf. Brunet II, 324; Colas 74; Lipperheide 1527. With the same author's Picturesque Representations of the Dress and Manners of the Austrians (London, 1814, 50 hand-coloured plates), Picturesque Representations of the Dress and Manners of the English (London, 1814, 50 hand-coloured plates), Picturesque Representations of the Dress and Manners of the Russians (London, 1814, 64 hand-coloured plates), Picturesque Representations of the Dress and Manners of the Turks (London, 1814, 60 hand-coloured plates), uniformly-bound in contemporary straight-grained scarlet morocco gilt.
