The Wandering Bard, Capri. 13 Sep. 35 XIII Inscribed poem to the artist by the sitter l.r.: To Alexander Iacovleff: O! Master thou hast with thy brush afire Painted me a Bard of Apollo's lyre.- As, a soul in the reincarnaturi state, Teaching thus there's "to be" beyond mortal fate- Imaged as an Indian got of superman, Whose soul belongs to a higher clan.
