Peinture noire intérieur noir, passepoil rouge Histoire du modèle La gamme des Alfa Romeo Giulia fut lancée le 27 juin 1962 sur l'Autodrome de Monza, fruit des efforts combinés des équipes talentueuses du constructeur et de Pininfarina. Ce nouveau modèle puissant était équipé du célèbre bloc moteur Alfa à double arbre à cames en tête, 4 cylindres, boîte 5 rapports, avec ce châssis monocoque Pininfarina et cette élégante carrosserie Pininfarina 2 places, longuement testée en soufflerie. Ce cabriolet remporta un très grand succès avec une production totale de 9250 exemplaires de 1962 à 1965, date à laquelle elle fut remplacée par la "Duetto". Histoire de la voiture Cette voiture fut construite le 18 avril 1963 et achetée le 30 mai 1964 par M. Marcello Cremonesi à Savonne en Italie, comme en atteste un courrier d'Alfa Roméo. La voiture fut importée au Royaume Uni en novembre 1996, où elle est demeurée jusqu'à récemment. A l'origine, cette voiture fut la propriété d'un membre du "Alfa Romeo Giuletta Register " qui enregistra précisément ses participations à des épreuves de rallye. La voiture fut couramment utilisée et entretenue de 1998 à 2001. La voiture appartient à son propriétaire actuel depuis trois ans. Etat La sellerie est de couleur noire, passepoil rouge et la carrosserie présente très bien en noir. Touts les chromes ont été refaits récemment. La capote en vinyl noir est en excellent état. Un dossier complet retrace tous les travaux de restauration ayant été conduits par le passionné précédent propriétaire. La voiture possède son certificat d'immatriculation anglais type V5 et son certificat MOT. La voiture a parcouru environ 500 km pour se rendre à la vente. Model History The Giulia range of Alfa Romeos was launched on June 27th 1962 at the Monza Autodrome and was the combined effort of the brilliant design teams from Alfa Romeo and Pininfarina. The potent new model featured the classic Alfa twin overhead camshaft four cylinder engine and 5-speed gearbox and an elegant Pininfarina monocoque two seater body developed after extensive wind tunnel tests. The Spyder was a huge success and production comprised 9,250 cars between 1962 and 1965 when it was replaced by the Duetto. Specific history of this car This particular car was manufactured on the 18th April 1963 and sold new to Mr. Marcello Cremonesi of Savona, Italy on the 30th May 1964. (letter from Alfa Romeo). The car was imported to the U.K. in November 1996, where it has been for the last decade. Initially the car was owned by an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Register member, who kept a meticulous record of rallies competed in, general use and maintenance from 1998-2001. It passed into the present ownership three years ago. Condition The interior is trimmed in black upholstery with red piping and the coachwork is beautifully presented in black with all brightwork having recently been re-chromed. The black vinyl hood is in excellent condition. A comprehensive history file accompanies the car detailing much of the restoration work carried out for the previous enthusiastic owner.
