Includes reproductions of works by artists exhibited by Stieglitz at '291' such as Picasso, Cezanne, Matisse, Rodin, Marin and De Zayas. Number 47 inscribed by Stieglitz in pencil on the title page. 4tos. Original gray paper covers; pages generally uncut as issued. The majority of Numbers are in very good condition with some excellent. Some covers detached, particularly in the early issues. Typical chipping of spines and covers throughout series; many plates detached but nearly all in excellent condition. Some water staining affecting only text pages, tipped mounts or margins of plates. Very little foxing with none on plates themselves. Housed in archival clamshell boxes, identified annually on typed labels affixed to the sides.
