The highly graphic advertisement describes a "Grand Illustrated Lecture...featuring 50 Magnificent Views Projected from the Magic Lantern," including a map of Alaska, important coast towns, Dawson City, the Yukon River, the steamboats, the Indians, the miners, sluice and hydraulic mining, gold mills, a dog train with sleds, etc. Featuring a large illustration of a miner panning for gold. The poster also advertises a high-class Musical Programme that will accompany the lecture, and features a depiction of people enjoying themselves while listening to a "Talking Machine...one of the Most Wonderful Inventions." Condition: Very light toning along right and left margins. Otherwise clean, near excellent condition.
