unmarked, second quarter 19th century; likely the work of Thomas & Sherman Boardman or Boardman & Hart, Hartford, Connecticut. Probably made from an inverted casting for a beaker body, having a hinged low domed lid and with incised decorative bands; 5" overall height x 3" diameter (at base).
